Coming soon to Etsy! I'm not sure when but I'm figuring out things as I go. I need to fully stock my shop! So far these are the colors I will carry. I also have turquiose but its not shown in this picture. These are 4" Flowers on a partially lined alligator clip. Being on a clip makes them INTERCHANGEABLE on different color headbands, attach on tutus, beanies, etc!

These are 1.5 crochet heabands, great with the flower clips. These are the colors I have so far, again, I have turquoise that is not pictured on here. They fit newborn all the way to adults! Very stretchy!

This is just showing you what the clip on the back looks like.

Each flower comes with a matching lined alligator clip.

The last two pictures are 2" Flowers. I also have them in brown, purple, white and turquiose. Pictured above is hot pink, blue and lavendar. My daughter likes to wear the small ones as is. hehe

Next year (couple months) I will have crochet beanies although I need it NOW! hehe. And at the end of this month, my shipment of tulles arrive so I can start taking custom orders soon for tutus.

Jaela's 1st Birthday Party: Cupcake Theme

Okay...FINALLY the party pictures are here! These are the Wilton cupcake stand, as I said in previous post, I originally saw it on The TomKat Studio. Kim over there is so creative! I was convinced that I need to have one too! I just love how you can decorate it to match anything! Those cupcake toppers are also inspired by her! She is the queen of cupcake toppers aka her party circles.

I made her tutu, ordered leg warmers online, and ordered her cupcake iron (for her shirt) on Etsy.

Jaela's Bakeshop

I set up a cupcake bar where the kids can decorate their own cupcakes. Sprinkles were in the cupcake pans, I got the idea from Bake It Pretty. The kids were excited, even some adults participated! hehe. This was such a messy clean-up tho...thanks to hubby and my cousin Krystle for cleaning that!

This was the "To-Go" box for the cupcakes the kids decorated. Inside had a cupcake insert so the cupcake will stay still. I got the template from Martha Stewart's Cupcake Book.

Next we did a game that we call the "Filipino Pinata". My mother-in-law made this. Basically, all the kids get under it and pull as much toys they can get.

The "loot bags" for the kids

These cupcake bites were on the dessert table along with the cake, cupcake stand, lollipop stand and a bowl of marshmallows dipped in chocolate. I was going to do a candy bar but since I did a cupcake bar, I ended up not doing it. On the day of the party, I went to Starbucks to get coffee and while I was in line, I saw the Madeline cookies dipped in chocolate on the top part. It was too late but I got an idea from that, it would have been perfect if I got the cookies from Costco, dipped it in chocolate and added sprinkles. That would have looked like a cupcake cookie! Hehe!!

This is Wilton's lollipop stand. I didn't have time to change the pink & purple lollipop's wrapper from birthdayexpress.com into a plain clear treat bag! My time was pressed! AHH!

Jaela's Birthday cake from Costco, I just added the cupcake bites.

Jaela's photo banner from each month since she was born. I forgot I had to do this. Party started at 2pm but I started this at 1:55 pm! I was late! My hubby had to entertain until I came downstairs! So therefore I didn't get to take "good" pictures before the party started. I was running late with everything even with MONTHS of planning!

This was inspired by Polka Dots & Pirates. Her birthday banners even inspired me too!

Jaela is ONE!!! I can't believe she's already ONE! Time flies especially when party planning!

These were centerpieces on the tables. These are also from Wilton

These were Martha Stewarts FAMOUS pom pom balls. They didn't have her color at the store so I had to make my own. Martha used 8 sheets, but I used 10 to get it more fluffy.

The party favors. Inside are either red velvet cake or yellow cake. These are the famous cupcake pops from Bakerella. Next I'm going to try banana cake dipped in chocolate...yummmm!

There's a couple things I didn't get to do mainly because I FORGOT to set them up but hopefully it gives you some ideas for your party! I was going to have a cupcake coloring contest. I had a picture of a blank cupcake and the kids were supposed to decorate it (color of course). And for the next game I had a picture of the cupcake on a poster board, I was supposed to give each kid a number "1" and they were supposed to place it on top of the cupcake while blindfolded like "pin the donkey" game. I was so bummed when I realized I forgot! I even forgot the Party Hats from birthdayexpress.com that matched the theme!!! grrr!!!

Preparing for Jaela's cupcake party part II (favors)

Here's are some pictures from the cake pops we made from Bakerella. And boy did these take LONG to make! The cupcake bites were on the dessert table and the cupcake pops were for favors.

I made 4 batches all together. 2 of red velvet cake and 2 of yellow cake. I'd say it takes about 2-3 hours to make 1 batch!!! Thank goodness I had help from my cousin Krystle! She's such a big help!

The picture above, I don't know if you noticed, but the ones with purple top are actually marshmallows. Got the idea from Hostess with the Mostess who actually got it from the TomKat Studio! I some marshmallow for table decorations, I just threw them into a bowl...still looked cute but I forgot to take a picture! It was gone so fast!

Preparing for Jaela's cupcake party

Jaela's party was last Saturday, I know I'm behind on my posts! I will be uploading pictures from the actual party sometime this week, however, here are some pictures I wanted to share. These are from when I was preparing the party. I've been planning her party for MONTHS and I was still LAST minute with some things!!! Anyway...here is a picture of a cupcake stand I decorated. I originally saw it on The TomKat Studio, I knew I HAD to get it... She got it from Michaels but our local Michaels didnt carry it, Joanns had it but they were always sold out!!! I wanted to use a coupon! hehe. So I finally decided to order from Wilton.com full price. I was so excited to see it when it finally came. I used 3/8 in ribbon and used double stick tape.

This was a cupcake "Happy 1st Birthday Jaela" banner. I made this months ahead but I finally attached them together with ribbon a couple days ago. I wasn't sure how I wanted it set up, one row or two rows, I ended up doing one whole row. (you will see pictures soon!)

These are a few of the cupcake toppers inspired by tomkatstudio.

These are the "loot bags" for the kids. Each gable box was labeled with a kids name so no one loses their bags or gets confused which is theirs. All girls had either purple or pink bags and the boys had blue bags. The cupcake image on the top, I TRIED to make my own cupcake image, i'm horrible designing my own images! The cupcake on the bottom is from her cupcake theme from  the BirthdayExpress.com, but I changed the "yellow sprinkles" to blue sprinkles so I can make it into boys as well. I also ordered party hats and balloons from them.

I had 20 kids! Oh my! =)
