{Free Printable} Thank You Tags

One of my friends have asked me to whip up some "Thank You" tags to attach to some sweets that she was giving out. We put a chocolate chip cookie inside a treat bag and attached the tag with some bakers twine from The Twinery.
Lucky for you, I made them downloadable for you to have as well!
My way of saying "Thank You" for being patience with me for my lack of post!
I have left some tags blank so that you can add your own notes!
you can use these tags on anything, like I have taped this tag on a mini brown kraft bag. You can attach to gifts, cake pops and more!
Enjoy!

Carnival Party

My mom, sister and I co-hosted a carnival party for my nephew's 1st birthday. My nephew and his parents live out of state but they come over here to celebrate since all the guest are from here as well.
We went with the traditional red and blue colors with hints of yellow

My mom's famous J E L L O! Get the recipe and tutorial HERE!
"Popcorn" cupcakes! These were fun to make!
Mini water bottles
Peanuts and caramel apples were the favors
We "hired" my brother to be the clown (yes...the birthday boy's daddy...hehe)
Since my brother has no "clown" experience, he just made an appearance and passed out these goody bags to the kids
We played lots of carnival games like Tic Tac Toe, SkeeBall, Ring Toss, etc. We also had a jumper that the kids loved. We had Bingo for the adults. We borrowed this popcorn machine from a family member.
Can you tell we love photo booths!?!
I got lucky and got some props at Targets $1 section which was for Circus/Carnival Theme!
My dad painted this Gypsy. It was hilarous when they boys took pictures with the gypsy!

Happy Birthday Jonah!!!!

Alexis' Baby Shower

Remember this plastic cake plate in my previous post? Here's what Krystle did with them for a baby shower...
She helped host a baby shower brunch among 6 friends at a restaurant called Horatio's. I love how this shower is small and intimate. She layed out all the cake stand in the middle and used them for jumbo red velvet cupcakes!
She used my extra toppers that I had from my brother's baby shower which was designed by Lorell from Sweetly Sweet in her baby shower collection. I just made a matching label for the flower centerpiece (which were also used as favor tags) and the "Aiyess" topper.
Each person had a place card along with a cookie as favors.
There was 3 different designs of cookies and they were YUMMY!

Niles' Baptism

Annette, a very close family friend, had asked me to make favors and the party decor for her son Niles' Baptism. Theme was baby blue, white and a lil bit silver.
The banner "God Bless Niles"
What's a party without the pom pom balls!?! =)
Niles had TWO cakes!!! These were made by Tara from Tara's piece of cake. I loved the cakes she made. I asked Annette if she had a site and when I looked....OH MY GOODNESS...she makes FABULOUS cakes!!!  The frame you see of Niles (between the cakes) was a centerpiece Annette put for each table along with a flower centerpiece, I didnt get a chance to take a picture of that but it was so cute!

love it love it love it!!!!
Now...on to the favors...she wanted both cupcake bites & pops

God Bless You Niles Quinn!
Isn't he so cute!!!!

Cute as a Button Baby Shower

Last weekend we threw my cousin a baby shower, Cute as a Button theme. In the previous post, I gave you a sneak peek to the cupcake toppers. So finally the shower as arrived! =). This buttons are made out of candy! I got the full tutorial from Bake It Pretty. She made some free printables for the bag toppers which inspired me make my own bag toppers! Everyone loved it! =) The candy jar in the bottom right is just filled with pink jelly beans, these were extras in case I didn't have enough button favors.
I made "its a girl" banner with buttons between them. (Click on the pictures to zoom in)
I aslso made some onsie cookies to match some of the cupcake toppers. I have never decorated a cookie before except just adding spinkles. I was running late so I didn't get a chance to fill all the cookies, instead I saved time just outlining some cookies and adding some left oer candy buttons.
If you look closely, you can see those circle cookies are actually "button" cookies. I used a circle cutter and for the inside circle, I pressed a little pressure from the bottom of an icing tip. and the 4 holes are from the top of the tip, I think I used tip #4.
The dessert table. Left side is cookies with pecan tarts and the right side is chocolate cupcakes with cookies. On the right side, bottom of tier, my son sprinkled the cupcakes =)
Now I want to eat desserts again!!!!
One of my cousin made the diaper cake.

We did a few games like "Guess how many diapers in cake"
And we played a race of who can put the diaper on fast BLINDFOLDED! =) The blindfolds were inspired by the Ellen show! We printed the eyes on iron on paper, then we ironed them on to an old white shirt. Then we glued them onto black felt and attached an elastic string. Its always a laugh!
